Occupational therapy fieldwork and doctorate experiences:
Level II fieldwork opportunities are available for OT and OTA students. We offer a unique fieldwork experience that includes clinical and research opportunities. Based on our current research projects, various opportunities are available. All fieldwork students will gain experience in:
- Visiting older adults and people with disabilities in the home
- Environmental impact on functioning
- Modifications for older adults and adults with disabilities
- Adaptive equipment
- Compensatory training
- Working with family and/or caregivers
- Community and social resources
We also offer opportunities for students completing their doctoral experiential component (DEC) . These opportunities are tailored to the individual student interest and goals.
